We manufacture the Mud Walker surface drive motor. Our goal in building the Mud Walker is to produce a reliable rugged surface drive motor. Every part of our Mud Motors are all made in house. We use aluminum tubing to machine our bearing housings. Solid bar stock for our water seal housing nuts. We do not use castings. We use chromolly for our drive shafts and aluminum tubing for our belt housing.
We use our own custom made welding fixtures to weld our components. We run each shaft in it's bearing housing with a custom made testing fixture with an electric motor for 30 minutes before final assembly. 

The Mud Walker is more like an outboard motor but, unlike an outboard, you'll be chewing up the vegetation, pushing your boat through the grass, lilly pads and slinging mud--there is literally almost nowhere you can't go.

We can use a variety of motors to fit your use and budget. Our personal favorite is the Briggs & Stratton Vanguard, however, the Predator is also an excellent, more affordable option.
